Do you do special commissions?

Yes, I do commissions.  Please contact me to discuss your requirements.

How will my painting be wrapped?

The acrylic paintings on canvas will be carefully packed using bubble wrap and re-purposed cardboard.  The watercolour paintings on paper will be posted in a sturdy hard backed envelope. Each one is unique, so I take particular care that it is well protected to arrive in perfect condition.

Are your paintings framed and ready for hanging?

No. My watercolours are on watercolour paper and will require framing, usually behind glass. My acrylics are on unframed canvas and are suitable for either hanging as they are or being set into a frame. In my experience most people prefer to make their own choice regarding how to hang a painting but please contact me if you have any questions.

How do I purchase a painting?

If you would like to purchase a painting, please use the purchase button which you will find beneath each individual painting and its description.  On receipt of your email I will confirm that the painting is still available and I will immediately remove it from sale.  I will also send you the relevant payment details for your chosen method of payment.

I accept three forms of payment.  You can make your payment through PayPal, via an Internet Bank Transfer or with a personal cheque.  (Should you chose to pay with a personal cheque there will be some delay in despatching your painting whilst your cheque is cleared.) Payments are taken through PayPal in British Pounds Sterling.  You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card.

What if I change my mind?

I recognise that sometimes a painting may not ‘look right’ in your intended hanging space. As described in the Terms and Conditions, you are entitled to return a painting within 7 days of receiving it and providing that you have taken good care of it I will reimburse the cost of the painting. However, I will not reimburse the cost of delivery and you will also be responsible for the cost of the return delivery. (This entitlement does not apply to specially commissioned work.)

What are your delivery charges and your delivery arrangements?

The Delivery Charge for UK addresses is as follows

Watercolour Paintings on Paper    £7.00

Acrylic Paintings on Canvas    £20.00

These charges cover the cost of packaging, labour and secure delivery.   Most orders will be packed and shipped within 3 working days.  Within the UK pieces are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight.  All shipments are tracked and require a signature on delivery.  Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping.  Please allow 5 days in total.  If you need a piece by a specific date, please let me know and I will find out whether it can be arranged.  There may be an extra charge for urgent deliveries according to your requirements.

What about International delivery?

I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location.  Delivery charges vary from country to country and will be calculated on a  bespoke basis. Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country.  Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense.  I have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for these additional charges.
